The Friday show is sold out, but there are still plenty of Thursday tickets left to see comic Fortune Feimster on her Takin’ Care of Biscuits tour. Feimster’s 2020 “Sweet & Salty” standup special on Netflix earned her a Critics Choice Award nomination. The comic, writer and actor is known for a confessional style of comedy that will crack up audiences of all stripes, ages and sexual orientations.

The 55th annual Saco Arts Festival is a huge downtown gathering that celebrates local art and creativity. The festival is a juried fine arts event with paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber art, printmaking and fine craft. The giant open-air gallery also includes live music from Bob Costigan and a community art project.

The parade kicks off at Monument Square, heads west on Congress Street, then goes down High Street and ends at the Pride Portland festival at Deering Oaks Park. Show up early for a good spot and then get ready to cheer on a sea of happy and proud Mainers. The parade features the 900-feet long River of Pride flag, which you can duck underneath and help carry. The festival, which runs until 5 p.m., includes more than 100 vendors, 20 food trucks and three entertainment areas.

Tribute act Good Vibrations pays homage to The Beach Boys in spectacular fashion with rich harmonies and musical chops that do right by the legendary California band. You’ll hear all the tunes you know and love, including “Surfin’ USA,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “California Girls” and “Barbara Ann.” The fun, fun, fun requires tickets, so wouldn’t it be nice if you got one?

Los Angeles-based indie-rock act Lord Huron was one of the headliners of the first Back Cove Music and Arts Festival in Portland last summer. The indie-folk band is fronted by singer and guitarist Ben Schneider and they have released five albums since 2012. Popular Lord Huron songs include “The Night We Met” and “I Lied.”
