2 juveniles seriously wounded in Fayetteville shooting in community off Old Bunce Road

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Two juveniles are in serious condition after they were shot in Fayetteville on Sunday night.

The shooting happened in a mobile home community on Banner Elk Road, which is off Old Bunce Road between Cliffdale Rod and 71st School Road, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.

After the shooting, one of the injured juveniles went to a nearby Cookout restaurant for help, police said.

Late Sunday night, one of the homes in the community was surrounded by crime scene tape.

Fayetteville police were also still at the scene late Sunday night.

No other details were released.
