Representative of Tajikistan meets with UN Deputy Secretary-General for Global Communications

AKIPRESS.COM – Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Jonibek Hikmat met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN in the field of global communications, including strategic communications, public information, and cooperation with the media, the coordination of upcoming joint events, as well as the presentation of the priorities and initiatives of both Tajikistan and the UN in the areas of peace and culture through effective communication and information tools.

The parties stressed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and continue constructive dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
