Red carpet rolled out: Yntymak Ordo preps for Georgian PM’s official visit
AKIPRESS.COM – The Yntymak Ordo presidential complex is abuzz with preparations for the official meeting between Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The Georgian Prime Minister arrived in Kyrgyzstan for his official visit yesterday, where he was welcomed at the airport by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, in a diplomatic push aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Inside the Presidential Administration grounds, final touches are being made to welcome the foreign delegation. Workers are rolling out the traditional red carpet across the main courtyard while soldiers of the National Guard take their ceremonial positions.
To mark the high-level visit, the flags of both Kyrgyzstan and Georgia have been hoisted throughout the complex.
