New high-speed train to connect Tashkent and Khiva
AKIPRESS.COM – Starting May 3, the “Jaloliddin Manguberdi” high-speed train will begin operations on the Tashkent–Khiva–Tashkent route, the Ministry of Transport reported.
The journey between the two cities will take 7 hours and 30 minutes, with tickets priced at 780,000 Uzbek sums.
The train is scheduled to depart from Tashkent on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while return trips from Khiva will run on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The inaugural journey from Tashkent is set for May 3, followed by the first return trip from Khiva on May 4.
Travelers can purchase tickets directly at railway station ticket offices or via the official online booking platform at eticket.railway.uz.
