New head of International Committee of Red Cross in Tajikistan appointed

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar met with the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Tajikistan on August 10, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation as well as matters pertaining to international humanitarian law.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his gratitude to current Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Tajikistan Pierre-Emmanuel Ducruet for his work during his mission, and wished success to newly appointed Head of the ICRC delegation Mur?djon Soliev.
