Mongolian athletes win three medals at Central Asian Badminton Championships

AKIPRESS.COM – The Mongolian badminton team won three medals at the Central Asian Badminton Championships held in Khujand, Tajikistan, Montsame reported.

More than 80 athletes from Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia competed in the six-day tournament. Mongolia was represented by nine athletes.

The Mongolian team won three bronze medals in the U16 and U19 categories. Amin-Erdene O. won bronze in the U16 women’s singles, Usukh-Ireedui U. took bronze in the U19 men’s singles. In the U19 men’s doubles, Temuulen E. and U. Usukh-Ireedui U. also won bronze.
