AKIPRESS.COM – Advisor to the President of Mongolia on Sports Affairs Amarsaikhan Sharkhuu held meetings in Tashkent with Minister of Sports Adkham Ikramov and Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Otabek Umarov, Montsame reported.

During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in physical education and sports as discussed at the level of the two countries’ heads of state. They explored opportunities for joint athlete training programs, exchange of experience, cooperation in sports management, and collaboration in the field of sports medicine and health.

The parties emphasized the importance of supporting the Olympic movement, developing youth sports, and expanding joint participation in international competitions, agreeing to further intensify bilateral cooperation in these areas.

Both sides noted that the meeting would serve as an important impetus for implementing the cooperation objectives agreed upon by the heads of state of the two countries.
