Mongolia and Finland discuss expanding cooperation in education sector
AKIPRESS.COM – Minister of Education of Mongolia Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren met with non-resident Ambassador of Finland to Mongolia Mikko Kinnunen to exchange views on expanding bilateral cooperation in the education sector, Montsame reported.
The Minister presented six national-level educational reforms currently being implemented and expressed interest in collaborating with Finland to improve the quality of education in rural schools and kindergartens, as well as to refine the teacher training system.
Ambassador Mikko Kinnunen emphasized the importance of achieving tangible results in bilateral cooperation.
“Visits and signing agreements are one thing, but making cooperation sustainable and delivering real, practical results is far more crucial,” he said.
Both parties agreed to intensify future collaboration aimed at improving educational quality, supporting teacher development, and ensuring equitable access to education.
