Foreign Ministers of OTS member states discuss cooperation in field of artificial intelligence
AKIPRESS.COM – Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev participated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, on May 15.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Ministers discussed cooperation in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technological development, as well as aspects of further strengthening cooperation within the Organization.
Kulubayev stated that AI and digital technologies are becoming key factors in motivation, economic growth, and public administration. The need to develop a joint digital infrastructure, expand cooperation in cybersecurity, train personnel, and support innovative initiatives was noted.
The Kyrgyz side also emphasized the importance of the practical implementation of joint projects in digitalization, developing transport and logistics connectivity, and strengthening technological cooperation between the OTS member states.
Following the meeting, the Foreign Ministers approved the agenda and final documents of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization and decided to further strengthen the institutional and digital capacity of its Secretariat.
