Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Japan consider prospects for cooperation
AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar received Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Eri Arfiya on August 11, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
During the meeting, the parties have sides discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Tajik-Japanese relations, as well as ways to expand bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic and investment cooperation, and expanding humanitarian and people-to-people exchanges.
The sides also exchanged views on current issues of the regional and international agenda and emphasized the importance of continuing close cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan.
The importance of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue and the practical implementation of the agreements reached, aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial partnership, has been emphasized.
