MEDIA GROUP PREMISES – UGANDA
Nation Media Group Uganda has announced the resumption of its operations after a temporary disruption, saying services across its television, print, radio and digital platforms will be restored progressively.
In a statement issued on Tuesday afternoon, the media company said it had begun restoring its services as it completes the necessary operational arrangements.
The company thanked its audiences, clients and partners for their patience and understanding during the period of interruption.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our audiences, clients and partners during this period and appreciate your continued trust and confidence in our brands,” the statement said.
Nation Media Group Uganda also reaffirmed its commitment to providing trusted and balanced journalism across all its platforms as operations return to normal.
The Media Group outlets in Uganda were shut down on June 28, 2026, following an order by the country’s military chief, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
