Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur

For the first time in its decades-long history, the Palarong Pambansa is headed to Agusan del Sur. The province hosts the 66th edition of the grassroots multi-sports showpiece from May 24 to 31 as the best student-athletes at the elementary and secondary levels look to deliver for their respective regions.

Medals are up for grabs in 24 regular sports, three demo sports, four para sports, and four exhibition sports, with 20 athletic associations, including the country’s 18 regions, the National Academy of Sports, and Philippine Schools Overseas, vying for glory.

After capturing its 18th straight overall crown in the 2025 edition in Ilocos Norte, the National Capital Region returns as the heavy favorite, followed by powerhouses Calabarzon, Western Visayas, Davao Region, Central Visayas, and Central Luzon.
