Belarusian communists sign cooperation deal with North Korea’s ruling party

Belarusian communist officials have hailed North Korea as a model socialist state, urging Minsk to learn from Pyongyang’s achievements after signing a cooperation agreement with the DPRK’s ruling party earlier this week.

A delegation from the Communist Party of Belarus (CPB) arrived in Pyongyang on Monday, according to the party, holding talks with officials from the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Following a meeting with An Hyon Min, deputy director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the WPK, the delegation met Kim Song Nam, the department’s chief and a member of the Politburo.
