St. Paul’s Bay Feast Briefly Paused To Mourn Father And Son’s Tragic Deaths

The St Paul’s Bay community has come together in the middle of what was meant to be a day full of celebration to mourn two of its own, Gregory O’Brien and his son Logan.

This afternoon, the town’s feast was briefly halted as a moment of silence was called for the two victims of last night’s tragic accident at sea.

43-year-old Gregory and his five-year-old son Logan were on a small dinghy in Ġnejna Bay at around 1am when a larger fishing boat hit them.

The poignant moment of silence during what is usually such a loud and festive occasion was followed up by a large round of applause in memory of the two victims.

Rest In Peace Gregory and Logan.
