Tajoura Municipal Council Announces Removal of Blockages on Coastal Road Ahead of Expansion

Tripoli – The Tajoura Municipal Council and the Road Opening Committee have called on residents and business owners along the coastal road—from the Heart Hospital traffic light to the Military Engineering College—to remove all temporary structures, awnings, advertising signs, and any obstructions within the planned road expansion area. This measure is part of preparations to complete the road widening project.

The council announced that demolition work will begin next Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. The work will be carried out by the relevant authorities. The council urged everyone to clear obstructions before the scheduled time to avoid potential liability or damage to property.

The council and the committee also stated that finishing and paving work on the road will begin next week. This project aims to improve infrastructure and facilitate traffic flow for the public good.

The statement concluded by emphasizing the importance of cooperation from residents and business owners for the benefit and safety of the city.
