Al-Baour and His Tunisian Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation and Coordinating Arab Positions

Amman – Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour of GNU met with Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, on Monday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 165th regular session of the Council of the Arab League at the foreign ministers’ level, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen the close relations between Libya and Tunisia. They also explored prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation across various fields to serve mutual interests and boost coordination and integration between the two countries.

Both sides exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern and reviewed the latest developments in the Arab world and the wider region. They stressed the importance of continued consultation and coordination to support joint Arab action and contribute to security and stability in the region.
