Three earthquakes occurred in Kyrgyzstan yesterday, September 9, the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences reported.

The first tremors, with an intensity of approximately magnitude 3, were recorded on September 9 at 11:54 a.m. The epicenter was located within Kyrgyzstan: 20 kilometers southwest of the village of Orto-Syrt and 37 kilometers southwest of the village of Baetovo.

The earthquake was not felt.

At 10:37 p.m., seismologists recorded a second earthquake with an intensity of approximately magnitude 3. Its epicenter was also located within Kyrgyzstan: 11 kilometers northwest of the village of Zhany-Talap and 31 kilometers west of the village of Baetovo.

The intensity of the tremors measured magnitude 2 in the villages of Kok-Dzhar, Zhany-Talap, and Ak-Kiya.

At 11:03 p.m., the Institute of Seismology registered another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 at the epicenter.

The epicenter of this seismic event was located within Kyrgyzstan: 12 kilometers northwest of the village of Zhany-Talap and 31 kilometers west of the village of Baetovo.

The earthquake intensity reached magnitude 3 in the villages of Kok-Dzhar, Zhany-Talap, and Ak-Kiya, and magnitude 2.5 in the villages of Ugyut, Ak-Tal, Kadyraly, Sary-Iymek, Kara-Oi, and Baigenchek.
