The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek continues to hear a criminal case on the preparation for a violent seizure of power. The latest hearing took place on June 29 in a closed session, presided over by judge Aziret Mederov.

According to sources, the court has entered the stage of closing arguments, during which state prosecutors requested that all defendants be found guilty and sentenced to nine years in prison.

It should be recalled that Kamchybek Tashiev was dismissed from his post as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) on February 10, 2026. Later, a criminal case was opened against him, known as the «Case of 75.»

The investigation accuses the former security chief of preparing a violent seizure of power and abuse of official authority. Alongside him, seven other defendants are on trial: former Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev, former Speaker of the Zhogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Bekbolot Talgarekov, Kursan Asanov, Kurmanbek Dyikanbaev, Aaly Karashev, and Emil Uzakbaev.

After the case was transferred to court, the materials were classified, and hearings were held behind closed doors. In mid-June, the process was briefly opened to the public, but since June 22 the court again decided to hold hearings without the presence of media and public.
