Heads of Delegations of Second Meeting of Council of OTS Central Banks meet with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan
AKIPRESS.COM – The Heads of Delegations of the Second Meeting of the Council of Central Banks of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member states, together with OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov in Baku on June 4, the OTS press service reported.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov welcomed the participants and highlighted Azerbaijan’s commitment to advancing multilateral cooperation within the OTS framework. He emphasized the importance of closer engagement among the central banks of the member states in addressing common challenges, supporting financial resilience, and fostering stronger economic ties.
On behalf of the participants, Secretary General Omuraliev noted the significance of the Second Meeting of the Council as an important platform for strengthening professional exchanges and enhancing practical cooperation among the central banks of the OTS member states. He also expressed appreciation to the Azerbaijani side for the positive contributions made for further developing OTS during its Chairmanship.
During the meeting, the importance of deepening cooperation among the member states, particularly in the fields of finance, monetary policy, banking coordination, and broader economic partnership, was also stressed. The discussions underscored the growing role of inter-institutional dialogue in promoting regional stability, sustainable development, and shared prosperity across the Turkic world.
