Daniyar Kalmatov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 1993, he graduated from the Bukhara Technological Institute of Kyrgyz Technical University with a degree in engineering technology, and in 1999 from Moscow State Social University with a degree in law.

He began his career in the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan. His total experience in various public service positions exceeds 30 years.

Prior to his new appointment, Kalmatov headed the Probation Department under the Ministry of Justice.

Daniyar Kalmatov holds the class rank of First-Class Counselor of Justice. He has been awarded the third-degree «For Merit» medal, the third-degree «Choro» medal, the «Excellent Worker of the State Service of the Kyrgyz Republic» badge, and a number of state and departmental awards.
