Kuwait Municipality inspection teams have issued 135 safety warnings and recorded 23 violations during a field campaign carried out in Jahra Governorate as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen compliance with municipal safety regulations.

The inspection drive targeted a range of commercial and industrial sites, focusing on ensuring adherence to approved safety standards and identifying breaches that could pose risks to public safety. Authorities said the campaign is part of regular nationwide monitoring activities conducted across all governorates.

During the inspections, municipal teams identified multiple violations related to safety requirements, prompting immediate corrective warnings and enforcement actions. A total of 135 notices were issued to establishments requiring urgent compliance measures, while 23 cases were formally recorded as violations warranting legal follow-up.

Officials said the inspections aim to enhance regulatory oversight, reduce potential hazards, and ensure that establishments comply with Kuwait Municipality’s health and safety guidelines.

They added that such campaigns are conducted continuously to maintain public safety standards and address non-compliant practices.

The Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying inspection efforts across Jahra and other governorates, stressing that strict action will be taken against violators in accordance with applicable regulations.
