The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday expressed the State of Kuwait’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the hostile Iranian aggression that targeted the country, resulting in injuries to armed forces personnel and inflicting material damage.
In an official press release, the Ministry reiterated that the continuation of this heinous aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and a grave threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents.
The Ministry emphasized that the attack represents a blatant violation of international legitimacy, UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), while reflecting a persistent hostile approach that irresponsibly undermines regional and international efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the inherent right of the State of Kuwait to take all necessary and appropriate measures to safeguard its national sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, in full accordance with the provisions of international law and the United Nations Charter.
