Iran suspends Islamabad MoU commitments as US strikes intensify

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister said Tehran had suspended its commitments to the MoU with Washington as US attacks continue.

“The US has violated and suspended all its commitments within the framework of the Islamabad MoU,” Gharibabadi said.

The Deputy Foreign Minister added that Tehran had suspended its commitments and implementation of the agreed as it is “busy defending the country.”

The US struck Iran for the seventh consecutive time overnight, with US Centcom claiming that US forces attacked Iranian surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and maritime assets.

A top Iranian military official warned that if the US continues bombing Iran over the coming days, Tehran will launch “full-scale offensive operations” and “Iran will no longer limit itself to retaliatory responses”.
