Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah praised the performance of Jordan’s national football team on Sunday, affirming that Jordanians will remember the “Nashama” for what they achieved during the Kingdom’s first-ever participation in the FIFA World Cup finals.

In a message shared via the Stories feature on her Instagram account, Queen Rania said that history will remember this as Jordan’s first appearance at the World Cup, “but what we Jordanians will remember is that you are Nashama and champions, living up to the Jordanian spirit of ambition and determination.”

She added: “We will always remember a team that made history and united us as Jordanians around a single dream. We cheered for you, supported you, and you made us proud at every moment of this journey.”

Her Majesty concluded her message by saying: “Thank you, Nashama.”
