Abdullah Shafique crafted a superb unbeaten century to put Pakistan in charge at close on day two of the second test against West Indies at the Queens Park Oval in Trinidad, on Monday.

Shafique cracked 10 fours and 2 sixes in a well played unbeaten 107 to steer the visitors to 266 for 2 at close, replying to the West Indies first innings 344 all out.

Shafique has so far shared in an unbroken third wicket stand of 168 with his captain Babar Azam who is not out 86.

Shamar Joseph and Jomel Warrican have so far taken the wickets to fall.

The Windies resumed on 239 for 5 and were eventually dismissed for 344.

Inform Justin Greaves led the batting with 73.

He was supported by captain Roston Chase who chipped in with 70. 

Pakistani spinner Sajid Khan was the pick of the bowlers capturing 4 for 85. 

West Indies lead the two match series after victory by 90 runs last Wednesday in Tarouba.
