Residents in St Ann are set to benefit from improved water supply following the commissioning of three major infrastructure projects on Friday.

Water Minister, Matthew Samuda, says the projects are expected to modernise and strengthen the parish’s water distribution infrastructure and improve the reliability of supply to communities.

Samuda was speaking with Nationwide News at the third leg of the water commissioning tour at the Minard Well replacement in Browns Town in the parish.

The wells, which served roughly 30,000 residents, collapsed about two years ago.

Minister Samuda says phase one of the project is now complete.
