Police in Manchester are probing the discovery of a nude body of a man in the trunk of a car in bushes at Kendal early Tuesday morning.

He’s been identified as 45-year-old used car dealer, Damian Taylor, otherwise called Zali. Taylor was a resident of Water Mouth, Porus in the parish.

Lawmen made the gruesome discovery shortly after midnight.

Reports are the body was in the trunk of a black Toyota Mark X motor car. The police say there were several chop and gunshot wounds all over the body.

The car was parked across the road from Kirkvine Sports Complex.

The find brings to 26 the number of murders recorded in Manchester since the start of 2026.
