The Government’s failure to deliver even five per cent of its heat pump target has turned the carbon tax into a “wealth transfer” to the rich, a Sinn Féin TD has told Gript.
Speaking to Gript this week following the release of SEAI progress figures, Sinn Féin spokesperson on the Environment, Climate and Energy Pa Daly said the poor delivery damages the justification for the carbon tax, claiming green subsidies are currently only accessible to high earners.
