Jakarta, IO – Roemah Koffie, member of Royal Agro Industri (RAI) has officially launched its newest premium roasted coffee beans, “Cing Cangkeling.”
Single-origin coffee from Mandalagiri, Garut, West Java, Cing Cangkeling, is grown by the Roby Siswanda family, one of the coffee-growing families in the area.
Felix TJ, CEO of Roemah Koffie, said Cing Cangkeling is part of the brand’s effort to bring the story of Mandalagiri into every cup, so customers can enjoy the coffee while also learning about its origins, flavor profile and the farmers who grow and care for the plants.
“Our vision and mission are to improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers in Indonesia by showcasing the country’s diverse coffee varieties through both our products and the stories behind them,” he added.
Cing Cangkeling is about more than its flavor profile. It also reflects the rich cultural heritage of its place of origin. The name Cing Cangkeling comes from a traditional West Javanese song that carries a message of taking a moment to pause, reflect and find calm.

Seeing the potential of the coffee grown on his family’s farm, Roby independently studied coffee processing and developed several processing methods, including Red Anaerob and Classic Natural.
Roemah Koffie later invited Roby and his family to collaborate after seeing the potential of Cing Cangkeling.

“For our family, this farm has been part of a long journey. We’re happy to have met Roemah Koffie and to see this coffee reach a wider audience, not only for its taste, but also for the story behind it and where it comes from,” Roby said.
One of Cing Cangkeling’s unique features is its Yellow Bourbon variety, which produces yellow cherries when ripe, unlike most coffee varieties, whose cherries turn red when fully ripe.
Grown at an altitude of around 1,500–1,600 meters above sea level, Cing Cangkeling is processed using the Classic Natural method, resulting in notes of stone fruit, grapes, berries and brown sugar.
Cing Cangkeling is available in 200-gram packs at all Roemah Koffie outlets and through its official e-commerce channels. As a limited seasonal offering, it will also be featured as Beans of the Month from September 18 to October 31, 2026. (eka)
