In accordance with the directives of the Uttarakhand government, the “Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar” (Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep) program will be organized in Haridwar district from September 22, 2026, to October 17, 2026, as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign). The objective of the campaign is to extend the reach of central and state government welfare schemes to the last person in the queue and ensure that eligible beneficiaries derive benefits from them. District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has prepared a schedule for the successful conduct of the campaign and instructed officials from all departments to work in coordination with one another. He emphasized that public grievances should be resolved on a priority basis at every camp and that the maximum number of eligible individuals should be linked to government schemes. Multi-purpose camps will be held at designated locations in both rural and urban areas, commencing at 11:00 AM.
According to the schedule released by District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, the “Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar” program will be held on the following dates and locations: September 22 (Bahadrabad Development Block), September 24 (Bhagwanpur Development Block), September 26 (Municipal Corporation Hall, Roorkee), September 29 (Narsan Development Block), October 1 (Laksar Development Block), October 3 (Khanpur Development Block), October 6 (Shivalik Nagar Municipal Council), October 8 (Ibrahimpur Nagar Panchayat), October 9 (Manglaur Municipal Council), October 13 (Piran Kaliyar Nagar Panchayat), October 15 (Jhabrera Nagar Panchayat), and October 17, 2026 (Atal Utkrisht Kanya Inter College, Bhagwanpur). Twenty-two departments will participate in the campaign, including Revenue, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Food and Civil Supplies, Labour, Health, AYUSH, Education, Drinking Water, Energy, Forest, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture, and Disaster Management. Departments will set up stalls at the camps to provide information about their schemes. Through these stalls, services such as application processing, registration, certificate distribution, and other related assistance will be made available to eligible beneficiaries.
In addition to resolving public grievances on the spot, the camps will facilitate applications and registrations for various government schemes. The concerned departments will take the necessary on-the-spot action to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of various schemes. The District Magistrate has directed all Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Block Development Officers, Executive Officers, and Nodal Officers to ensure wide publicity for the camps and to increase the participation of public representatives. He has also instructed that public grievances raised at each camp be resolved promptly and effectively so that the local population can derive maximum benefit from the campaign.
