The suspense surrounding the actress who will be playing the female lead opposite pan-India star Prabhas in his highly anticipated silver jubilee film, Spirit, has finally ended. The makers have been looking for the right replacement for Bollywood star heroine Deepika Padukone, who exited the project recently.

As per the official announcement by Spirit’s makers, happening young Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri has been roped in for the leading lady’s role in Spirit. This will mark Tripti and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second collaboration after the blockbuster action drama, Animal. Tripti’s glamor treat and emotional performance in Animal resonated with the audience and landed her in big-budget movies in Bollywood.

Spirit is a joint production of Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Sandeep and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures banners. The film is expected to go on floors in the second half of this year. Prabhas will be seen in a powerful cop avatar in the movie. Stay tuned for further updates.
