Grenada launches National Naming Competition to help shape the identity of the new proposed Grenada Public Hospitals Authority
The Government of Grenada, through the Hospital Statutorisation Transition Team, is pleased to announce the launch of a National Naming Competition, inviting Grenadians to contribute their creativity and ideas towards the development of the identity of the new proposed Grenada Public Hospitals Authority.
The competition forms part of the wider Hospital Statutorisation initiative, which represents an important step in the ongoing transformation of Grenada’s public hospital services. Statutorisation will establish a statutory body with its own governing structure, providing greater flexibility in the management of hospital resources and operations, with the goal of supporting more efficient, accountable and patient-focused hospital care.
Under the competition, Grenadians are invited to help create an identity that reflects the values and future vision of the new proposed Grenada Public Hospitals Authority. Participants are required to submit ideas across all 3 categories: a Name, Logo and Tagline.
Entries will be accepted in two categories:
- Student Category – Under 18 years
- Adult Category – 18 years and over
Participants are encouraged to develop original and meaningful submissions that reflect Grenada’s national identity and pride, good governance and public trust, innovation and excellence, humanity and inclusivity, and a commitment to quality hospital care for future generations.
Prizes will be awarded in both the Student and Adult categories, with EC$1,500 for first place and EC$1,000 for second place.
The competition provides an opportunity for members of the public to make a lasting contribution to hospital care in Grenada by helping to build the future identity of the new proposed Authority. While winning submissions will be recognised through the competition, the organisers reserve the right to refine, adapt or modify winning submissions. Further, a winning entry may not necessarily become the final identity used by the new proposed Hospitals Authority.
