The annual Grenfin Swim Club Invitational Meet returns to the Good Hope Swimming Pool in St Paul’s from Thursday, 24 to Sunday, 27 September 2026.
Grenfin is pleased to welcome back title sponsor LUCOZADE, Huggins Grenada for the 10th consecutive year.
The 4-day event is an important meet on the national swim calendar, as it is the club’s biggest fundraising event as well as the official OECS Team Trials. Local teams have been engaged in intense preparations and training as swimmers compete to secure one of the 34 spots on the OECS National Swim Team. The team will go on to represent the tri-island state in the 34th OECS Swimming Championships to be held at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre in St Lucia from 6–8 November 2026.
Grenada is preparing to defend its first-place title as it competes against the region’s top swimming athletes from across the OECS.
The Grenfin Invitational Swim Meet will commence at the following times over 4 days:
- Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 September: Warm-up 4 pm; Competition starts at 5:30 pm
- Saturday, 26 September: Warm-up 7:30 am; Competition starts at 9:30 am; Official Opening Ceremony at 10 am
- Sunday, 27 September: Warm-up 8 am; Competition starts at 9:30 am
The 2026 Grenfin Invitational Swim Meet is set to deliver a thrilling weekend of fierce competition, remarkable performances and outstanding sportsmanship.
