The OFC Pro League moves into its next stage in Auckland for Round 6, where the remaining eight teams have been divided into two pools.
The Leaders Group features Auckland FC, South Melbourne FC, Bula FC, and South Island United. Meanwhile, the Challengers Group includes Solomon Kings FC, Tahiti United, Vanuatu United FC, and PNG Hekari FC.
Under the competition format, the top three teams from the Leaders Group will progress directly to the semi-finals.
The final semi-final berth will be decided through a playoff between the fourth-placed Leaders Group team and the top side from the Challengers Group.
The inaugural champion will be decided on May 24 at Eden Park.
Attention now shifts to the Leaders Group fixtures at Go Media Stadium, where Bula FC will open against South Island United, followed by a clash between Auckland FC and South Melbourne FC.
Bula FC’s head coach welcomed the team’s progress into the top-tier group but acknowledged that strong performances will be crucial in the decisive stage of the competition.
