Pensions for the month of April will be paid today through the Single Account of the Treasury of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, announced the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance. For users who became eligible by January 1, 2026, the lowest pension is 666.76 KM, guaranteed 795.74 KM, while the highest pension is 3,333.79 KM.
The basis for calculating the lowest pension for beneficiaries who exercise their right after January 1, 2026 is 724.36 KM (651.05 + 11.26 % = 724.36).
Based on the above:
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point a) – for less than 20 years of pensionable service – 60% of the base, amounts to 434.62 KM,
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point b) – for 20 years of pensionable service and more, and less than 25 years – 65% of the base, amounts to 470.83 KM,
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point c) – for 25 years of pensionable service and more, and less than 30 years – 70% of the base, amounts to 507.05 KM,
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point d) – for 30 years of pensionable service and more, and less than 35 years – 75% of the base, amounts to 543.27 KM,
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point e) – for 35 years of pensionable service and more, and less than 40 years – 85% of the base, amounting to 615.71 KM,
The lowest pension from Article 81, paragraph 2, point f) – for 40 years of pensionable service and more – 95% of the base, amounts to 688.14 KM.
The lowest disability and family pension (behind the active insured person) as of January 1, 2026, amounts to 651.92 KM. The amount of the guaranteed pension for beneficiaries who exercise the right after January 1, 2026 based on 40 or more years of insurance experience is determined in the amount of 842.44 KM.
The lowest pension of beneficiaries who exercise the right according to special regulations (Act on Early More Favorable Retirement of Veterans of the Homeland War, Act on Special Rights of Recipients of War Awards and Decorations and Their Family Members, and Act on the Rights of Veterans and Their Family Members), with amendments to the aforementioned regulations that apply from 1 January 2026. year, it was determined in the amount of 666.76 KM.
The average independent pension for April is 851.03 KM.
A total of 466,768 beneficiaries will receive the pension for April, and the funds required for payment amount to about 355.4 million KM.
