JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was found deceased after firefighters responded to a house fire in Jackson.
The incident occurred on North Sunset Terrace off of Terry Road on Saturday, May 24.
Two found dead in North Mississippi, one in custody
Interim Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard said Michael Redd, 52, of Crystal Springs, was found deceased. Redd had been stabbed multiple times.
Jackson firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire, while Jackson police are investigating the homicide.
