The Cambodian Artists Association has expressed its deepest condolences and regret over the death of Ratanak Piseth, a talented singer and actor, who died of a heart attack in Long Beach, California, USA, on Saturday morning.

Singer So Sopheak, who lives in the United States, confirmed the sad news.

Piseth was a popular actor, singer, and host in Cambodia and the US, best known for his lead role in the movie “Ken Comeback.”

After moving to the US, he began his career as a singer at the “Hak Hieng” venue in Long Beach, California. He also appeared as a guest singer in many other Cambodian émigré venues.

The Association considers Piseth’s passing the loss of a talented artist who left behind great works and memories in his fans’ hearts.
