Post the Jailer 2 release, producer Kalanithi Maran officially announced the wedding of composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner Kavya Maran. Their wedding reception invitation is now going viral on social media.
What is so special about it is the hand-carved wooden box, which has 10–12 separate carvings and hours of hand-painting. The box opens like a jewellery box and contains embossed stationery, a vintage crest seal, blue silk ribbons, and wax seals. There are matching bags and goodies, including dry fruits and chocolates.
The materials were sourced from different places, and some are now unavailable. The designer said the box cannot be replicated. The team also tried different hinges and materials before finalising the design.
Designed by Ranjani Iyengar of Pink Whistle Man, each box reportedly costs around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. Videos of the invitation are going viral on social media.
The wedding is reportedly taking place in Greece on November 10 or 11, 2026. The reception will be held in Chennai on November 21, 2026. Several celebrities have already been invited.
