ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A judge ordered a murder suspect to stay in jail until trial after police said he killed a man while trying to get back an “expensive wrist watch.”
Albuquerque police said Deangelo Lee went to an apartment in northeast Albuquerque on July 22 to get his watch back.
According to a witness, Lee rode a Lime scooter to the apartment and shot a gun through the screen door, killing David Torres.
Detectives said they tracked the Lime scooter purchase to Lee.
