COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Police arrested a Coventry man in connection with a months-long narcotics investigation Wednesday morning.

Julio Rivera, 34, was taken into custody after detectives executed a search warrant at his Flat River Road home.
Police said the detectives, who were assisted by K-9 Nixo, uncovered 117 grams of cocaine, 91 grams of methamphetamine, 20 grams of fentanyl and several vials of testosterone.
Rivera was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as possession of testosterone.
Rivera faced a judge Thursday and was ordered held without bail for violating the terms of his release in a separate narcotics investigation out of West Warwick. His next court date is scheduled for June 4.
