Prep girls soccer: Shorewood takes league lead in OT win

Shorewood 4, Edmonds-Woodway 3 (OT)

SHORELINE — The Stormrays (6-5-1 overall, 6-2-0 league) downed the the Warriors (6-2-3, 5-2-0) in a shootout to hold onto their league lead. McKenna Anderson, Maily Fly and Lilly Buris all scored for Shorewood while Harper Funston had a brace and an assist for Edmonds-Woodway. Izzy Han also added a goal and an assist in the loss. The fourth scorer for Shorewood was not reported.

Shorecrest 2, Mountlake Terrace 2

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — The Scots (9-1-1, 5-1-1) and Hawks (5-4-2, 3-4-1) played to a draw with three second-half goals. Olivia Taylor had both of Shorecrest’s goals, scoring in the 38th before Mountlake Terrace’s Taylor Williams equalized in the 53rd. Brielle Hord scored from distance to put the Hawks ahead 2-1 11 minutes later before Taylor netted a penalty-kick goal in the 67th to bring the game to its final 2-2 resting point. Keeper Maddy Qualle finished with 10 saves for Terrace.

Monroe 4, Everett 0

MONROE — Sophomore Finley Greear scored all four of the Bearcats’ (5-4-2, 4-2-1) goals to down the Seagulls (5-6-0, 4-3-0). Greear had a brace in each half, as Kiana Landerdahl finished with two assists while Addison Williams and McKenzie Allen each had one for Monroe.

MARYSVILLE — Peyton Robinson had a hat trick to account for the night’s scoring as the Chargers (5-5-0, 4-4-0) downed the Tomahawks (1-10-0, 0-9-0).
