Who are The Red Clay Strays?
Formed in Mobile, Alabama, The Red Clay Strays have become one of the most talked-about bands in country and Americana circles over the past several years. The group’s breakthrough hit, “Wondering Why,” helped introduce a wider audience to the band’s distinctive sound, while consistent touring built a devoted fan base nationwide.
The band’s momentum accelerated further with the June 2026 release of “Grateful,” their third studio album. Produced by Dave Cobb and released through HBYCO Records/RCA Records, the album has helped propel the group into larger venues and headline status throughout North America.
