Broccoli seeds sold on Amazon nationwide recalled over potential salmonella concerns
A recall has been issued for broccoli seeds purchased online over concerns of potential salmonella contamination, the United States Food and Drug Administration announced.

EAK Distribution of Casper, Wyoming, recalled some of its HOME GROWN Green Sprouting Calabrese Broccoli Seeds sold in eight-ounce pouches on Friday.
The seeds were sold on Amazon to consumers nationwide between Aug. 20, 2026, and Sept. 18, 2026.
The seeds are in a cream-colored pouch with the UPC code 850056627443. The top seal is embossed with the Production Lot Code of AUG172026.
No illnesses linked to the product have been reported.
The company said the seeds were used by a sprout grower linked to a multi-state foodborne illness outbreak.
Consumers who purchased the affected product are urged to throw the seeds away and contact Amazon for a refund.
