Following the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for the electoral roll in Uttarakhand—based on the qualifying date of July 1, 2026—has concluded. The SIR campaign in Uttarakhand commenced on June 8, 2026, followed by the publication of the draft electoral roll on July 14, 2026. Subsequently, after the disposal of claims and objections, the final electoral roll was released today, October 3, 2026. According to the released roll, the total number of voters in Uttarakhand currently stands at 7,158,949.

At the start of the SIR campaign on June 8, 2026, there were 7,960,762 voters in the state. Following the distribution and collection of forms, the draft electoral roll was published on July 14, 2026, listing 7,133,785 voters. Thereafter, in accordance with the schedule, the Commission provided a window from July 14, 2026, to August 13, 2026, for voters to submit claims and objections. Subsequently, the process of resolving these claims and objections took place between August 13, 2026, and September 28, 2026. Following this resolution process, the final electoral roll was published on October 3, 2026, comprising 7,158,949 voters. Currently, there are 12,543 polling stations in the state. The final electoral roll comprises 7,158,949 voters, including 3,421,036 women, 3,737,701 men, and 212 voters belonging to the third gender. Additionally, the roll includes 72,656 voters in the 18–19 age group and 122,892 voters aged 80 and above. Following the resolution of claims and objections during the SIR campaign, the final publication of the electoral roll saw the inclusion of 129,872 new voters, while the names of 104,708 voters were removed.

Following the final publication, the public can view the electoral roll online by visiting the Election Commission of India’s website (www.voter.eci.gov.in) or the Chief Electoral Officer’s website (www.ceo.uk.gov.in). Furthermore, the list can also be obtained from the offices of the District Election Officer (DEO) and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), or from the Booth Level Officer (BLO).
