The supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in part of Bishkek on September 29, the Bishkek City Hall reported.

Water supply will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The restriction will affect the area between Panfilov Street, Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, Frunze Street and the railway.

City authorities said the water outage is due to maintenance and preventive work at the Togolok Moldo water intake facility and on the city’s water supply networks.

Bishkekvodokanal asks residents to stock up on drinking water in advance.

Residents can receive notifications about scheduled and emergency water supply outages through Moi Gorod (My City) app.
