The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) informs the general public, particularly motorists, that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect to facilitate Nawasa pipeline works along the Woodlands Public Road, extending in the direction of Sugar Mill.
One-way traffic: Traffic will flow in one direction from Grand Anse Valley towards Woodlands/Springs.
Alternative route: Motorists travelling from the Springs direction will be required to use an alternative route, as access through the affected area will be restricted.
No entry: A No Entry sign will be placed at the Woodlands Junction. Motorists will not be permitted to enter the affected area from that direction.
The traffic arrangements will take effect on Monday, 28 September 2026, and will remain in effect for approximately 3 months, during the following hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9 am–9 pm
- Friday: 9 am–3 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9 am–5 pm
NB: The affected roadway may be periodically closed and reopened as the pipeline works progress. Motorists are therefore advised to exercise caution, follow all traffic signs and directions, and plan their routes accordingly.
