The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) informs the general public, particularly motorists, that the following traffic arrangements will be implemented to facilitate the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Rally scheduled for Sunday, 27 September 2026, at St Paul’s, St George.
These arrangements will take effect from 4 pm and will remain in effect until midnight.
Road closure: St Paul’s Main Road, from its intersection with Mardigras public road (Greens), will be closed to vehicular traffic travelling in a northerly direction towards the St Paul’s Police Station.
Traffic diversion: All traffic will be diverted through Mardigras onto St Paul’s Main Road or Perdmontemps Main Road.
One Way: St Paul’s Main Road, from the intersection near the St Paul’s Police Station to the intersection with Mardigras Public Road (Greens), will operate as a one-way road, with traffic flowing towards St George’s.
No entry: No entry signs will be placed in the following locations:
- Good Hope and St Paul’s Main Road intersection: Good Hope will operate as a one-way road, with traffic flowing from the Mardigras direction
- Mardigras and Good Hope intersection: Motorists will not be permitted to travel along Mardigras Road to exit onto St Paul’s Main Road (Greens)
No parking: No parking will be permitted in the following areas:
- St Paul’s Public Road from its intersection with Mardigras public road to its intersection with La Borie
- The left side of Mardigras public road towards the direction of St George’s
- The left side of St Paul’s Public Road, from its intersection with Mardigras public road to the area near St Paul’s Station, towards Perdmontemps direction
Parking:
- Government ministers and officials: The St Paul’s Government School yard
- General Public: Along the roadway except in areas designated as No Parking; Hill Crest area
