A coordinated law enforcement operations in the village of Fagatogo on September 8 resulted in the arrest of four men on drug charges.

Samoa News reports the operation involved the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Office of the Attorney General Investigative Team.

According to court documents law enforcement officers were dividend into three separate teams and simultaneously executed a search warrant at approximately 6:30 a.m. Each team was assigned to search one of the structures identified in the search warrant.

The operation resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine (meth), marijuana, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, electronic devices, and cash.

Upuese Ioane, Galen Leasiolagi and VA Dole are charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Jason Te’i faces one count of possession of a controlled substance. All four are held without bail.
