Lego has introduced a buildable jack-o’-lantern kit designed to offer Halloween enthusiasts a decoration that won’t rot on the doorstep.
The Halloween Pumpkin Lantern set contains 323 pieces that construct an orange brick pumpkin with an illuminated face. Builders (suggested for ages 9 and up) can press the pumpkin’s stem to activate a light brick inside, causing the carved face to glow.
The $29.99 kit includes a spider and a glow-in-the-dark ghost minifigure that attaches to the lantern, creating the appearance of a hovering spirit. The completed model stands more than 4 inches high and spans 5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep.

Lego positions the Halloween Pumpkin set as a reusable seasonal decoration suitable for windowsills or shelves. The company notes the brick-built lantern can be displayed year after year without the deterioration that affects real gourds.
It is available now through Lego’s online store with a limit of five units per household. The company said the purchase restriction ensures fair access for all customers. Builders can follow interactive 3D instructions through the Lego Builder app, which offers zoom and rotation features during assembly.
